My Writing Tutor is an online learning platform designed to help Australian students improve their English writing skills. We provide structured lessons, real-time practice tasks, and personalised AI-assisted feedback aligned to the NAPLAN Writing criteria.
2. Who is the program designed for?
Our courses are tailor-made for students in Years 3, 5, 7, and 9, with content mapped to the NAPLAN Writing test. Parents looking to build their child’s confidence in writing—whether for school, NAPLAN, or general skill development—will find it highly effective.
3. How does the Free Trial Assessment work?
- Your child completes a short writing task.
- Our AI-assisted NAPLAN Marker reviews the submission.
- You receive a personalised report with strengths, areas to improve, and an estimated band.
- You can then choose a Membership or Course that fits your child’s level.
There’s no obligation to purchase anything.

11. Does my child need supervision to use the site?
Younger students (especially Year 3) may benefit from a parent sitting with them for the first lesson.
After that, children can navigate the platform independently.
12. What device should my child use?
The platform works on:

- Mobile phones (less ideal for long writing tasks)
We recommend a laptop or tablet for the best writing experience.
13. How long does each lesson take?
Most lessons take 10–15 minutes, with practice tasks taking another 5–10 minutes.
Assignments vary depending on the writing task (usually 10–20 minutes).
14. How often should my child practise?
We recommend:
- 1–2 lessons per week for steady improvement
- Additional practice before NAPLAN
- Regular assignment submissions for feedback
Consistency beats cramming.
15. Can schools or teachers use My Writing Tutor?
