Welcome to your free NAPLAN-based writing assessment!
In this short activity, your child will complete one NAPLAN-style writing prompt. The task is designed to be simple, age-appropriate, and easy to complete at home.
How it Works
- Choose a writing prompt below.
- Have your child write their response (typed or copy/pasted into the submission box).
- Submit it using the form at the bottom of the page.
- Our AI Writing Tutor will review the work using the NAPLAN rubric.
- The feedback you receive will include estimated writing band, strengths, areas for improvement, and suggested next steps.
- Estimated time to complete: ~5–10 minutes

You will see:
- Scores for key writing skills
- 2–3 strengths explained in plain language
- 2–3 priority improvements (next steps)
